The Perfect One

Lesson of the day. There is a thing called Perfect Partner. It simply means the person that is RIGHT for you. Everyone expresses love and care uniquely and no comparison can be made against each other.

A quick 5-minute survey with 3 women of their definitions of a "perfect partner/husband" :-

Woman A: caring, communicates, shares similar value in life, humourous

Woman B : loving, family focused, smart

Woman C : kind hearted, filial, pampers her

I think .... as long as the person fits RIGHT 80% of the time (20% allowance for individualism and potential tiffs), we can deem him/her the Perfect One. And TIME is a crucial factor to mould one into a perfect partner.

Tree of life

Easter is not about bunny, eggs, or chocolate.

It’s about a man who was hung on a tree for the love of men 2000 years ago. And as he said “it is FINISHED!”, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. Three days later, he rose again. Easter is to celebrate his resurrection.

It is FINISHED = it’s all paid. All sins. Today’s, yesterday’s and tomorrow’s.

Often, the world thinks that one needs to “do good” to believe in him. And to be a believer, one ‘has to’ be ‘pure’, ‘nice’, with lots of rules to follow.

It’s a misconception.

If we must be ‘good’ to believe in him, then we don’t need him, we only need ‘us’. We believe in him because we are not perfect and by his death on the cross, we are made perfect in His eyes.

Happy Easter anyways and have a good break!

The good and the bad

One good thing came out of the recent heavy downpour - the long-awaited first blossom of our Fu Gui Hua. At least it takes away the attention from the bug-infested Calytheas, which we are still praying for healing :) .

The sun is out

This morning I woke up and said a prayer.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for a good day ahead
You are my wisdom
You are my peace
I shall be STILL because I know your ARE God...

Yesterday was stormy. Work. Roof (yes it seems like a never-ending story). Pent-up pressure. Sometimes I get caught up when there are too many 'moving parts' happening all at ONCE.

But hey, like what my dad always says: "it's not the end of the world".
The sun is out today and it's a going to be a better day!

Side note: even if it's 'the end' of the world, it shall be good because it's rapture!

Superman

We often compliment and label women who juggle career and household chores well as 'superwomen'. How about men who can reach the success of career and also be the handyman domestically? These past 2 weeks, superman is in the house! The roof has been leaking with mini-floods here and there. OK, M didn't fix it but he's been taking day off to stay at home for the contractors... and I've been under the weather and it's his turn to master the kitchen...

Thankful for superman.
