Never heard of Alsace until recently when I needed to ‘borrow’ a bottle of wine from SY. And with that, we discovered Alsace Domaines Schlumberger Gewurztraminer- don’t even want to try to pronounce this. Not as dry as Chardonnay, yet not as sweet as Riesling. It’s smoother and silkier than Sauvignon Blanc. That’s my kind of non-connoisseur wine review! Probably one of the better whites that I’ve ever had. It’s even nicer to share this with good friends and a heart-to-heart sharing session.
