Whose bed is it anyway?

These days, uniterrupted sleep is like striking lottery for daddy M and I. S has been waking up in the wee hours reqeusting to be moved to our bed. And that's it! There goes our sleep with her karate moves in between us. As our dark-eye circles deepened, we decided to 're-train' her to sleep through out the night (like she used to do).

Night 1: She was up around 2am. Cried for 10 minutes. Mommy gave in and carried her over to our bed.

Night 2: As above. Daddy gave in.

Night 3 (last night): She was up again in the wee hours. Both mommy and daddy decided to ignore her and she cried louder. So we comforted her from a distance. Actually it was more like daddy who did the comforting while mommy covered her ears with pillow praying to Jesus for help... The drama lasted for about 40 minutes. This morning, she was rewarded with two Sesame Street stickers for not getting out of the cot!

We are determined to continue with the 'battle'...
